The ninth annual Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance Run for the Angels Memorial 5K will take place this Sunday at McEuen Park in Coeur d’Alene. Enjoy a day with family and friends, while observing social distancing and remaining in your family pod. The course is open from 12 - 4 pm when registrants can walk or run the course at their leisure. The opening and remembrance ceremony starts at 2 pm, when children’s names will be read. There will also be an emotional support area with a luminary-building station available, and a silent auction will take place online.
Presented by Idaho Central Credit Union, the event is in remembrance of all children who have died suddenly and unexpectedly, and raises awareness of pregnancy, infant and child loss. Proceeds go to benefit emotional support programs of Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance.
