  • North Ridge Homes Proud to Present ‘The EagleCrest’

Tour house #4 at this year’s NIBCA’s Parade of Homes, kicking off September 16 By Jillian Chandler Dale and Jessica Cargile are in the business of building homes, with a focus on community, integrity and quality. North Ridge Homes is a true custom home builder, designing floor plans unique to the customer’s land, needs and budget. They do not limit the areas where a customer can create their own vision, change or modify a plan, or create something brand new. In addition, Dale and Jessica firmly believe that a custom home is not just for the multi-millionaire; a custom home can be built practically, and reasonably, for all levels and stages of life. The husband-and-wife team are excited to announce that once again one of their custom builds has been entered into North Idaho Building Contractors Association’s (NIBCA) 2023 Parade of Homes, a highly anticipated annual event shining the spotlight on expert builders as they showcase their finest work to the public. This year’s event kicks off on Saturday, September 16. Area builders entering a home in the parade are required to be a member of NIBCA, an organization that does a remarkable amount of work on behalf of the builders and associates throughout the industry. “The Parade of Homes is just one of many events that NIBCA puts on in the local community, and the association’s advocacy work has an incredible impact, supporting the building industry and our community,” Jessica shares. Over the years, North Ridge has won multiple awards for their beautiful and unique designs. “We spend a long time in the process with our customers, from concept to design and into the build. By the time we hand off keys, we have gone down a long road together,” reflects Jessica. “The excitement and satisfaction of our customers is the best reward we could ask for. However, getting recognition from the industry and winning awards adds another level of joy and fun—for us and for the homeowners who get to call their home ‘award-winning’!” The home they chose to enter in this year’s Parade of Homes—The EagleCrest by North Ridge—is a completely custom build on their customer’s property, with the plan designed and developed specifically for the customer and their land. “We had several obstacles to work through, given some of the site conditions and the lot itself,” notes Jessica. “There was an existing well we had to work around, multiple accesses we had to coordinate, and we even had to blast the hillside out in order to place the home on the lot. This required quite a bit of engineering and planning, but the result is absolutely stunning.” From the back deck, the view is so expansive that you can virtually see from Coeur d’Alene to Athol and State Line! “It is an incredible sight to see, and even better since the home is five minutes from downtown Post Falls! I don’t know how you can beat that for country living, close to town,” Jessica says. Dale and Jessica chose to embrace a design concept they named “rustic drama,” creating a timeless and classy design while integrating rustic elements that draw you into the surrounding beauty of the environment on the property. Tasteful rust tones that show up in the natural rock outside are brought into the centerpiece elements inside the home and are complemented with black to make them pop. “We also kept many elements throughout the home subdued for a spa-like feel, especially in the primary suite,” Jessica adds. “Our internal design team collaborated with the customer deeply, taking the inclination of their tastes and playing on them to create a very elegant, fun and beautiful home that checks the boxes all around. We can’t wait to see people experience this beautiful home!” The EagleCrest is a true reflection of the builder-customer collaboration that makes North Ridge special, working hand-in-hand with the customer on the design—from concept all the way to fruition. “The process can be intense, and there are so many decisions a customer has to make throughout the process of a truly custom home. This home really showcases our quality standards and comprehensive design, focused through the lens of this particular customer’s gorgeous taste in finishes. Our job is to help our customers make the many important decisions along the way, guiding and educating them about their decisions, and helping make sure the budget aligns with their desires for design, structure and finishes. At the end of a project like that, having a fantastic relationship with our customers is our pride, and I think it says a lot about the way we work.” This is not the Cargiles’ first Parade home, as they have had an entry in NIBCA’s Parade of Homes each and every year. “Some years we have had a virtual entry, but we love it when we have a home we can showcase in person, because there is nothing like walking in a home to really get the feel for it,” says Jessica. “Happily, we have won awards multiple years with our entries—virtual and in person—and we hope this year is no exception!” Dale and Jessica invite you to visit House #4 this year—The EagleCrest by North Ridge. “We can’t wait to share this incredible property with the Parade viewers,” Jessica smiles. Parade times and dates to visit the Cargiles’ custom home build are 11am to 6pm September 16, 17, 22 and 23, and 11am to 4pm September 24. Guidebooks are available at the NIBCA office beginning September 11 or at the Parade homes during the event. Tickets can be purchased online now at POH.NIBCA.com.
