Light Parade and Fireworks at Schweitzer. Love Your Farmer, Love Your Food at Silver Lake Mall, Italian Wines Small Plates Tasting at Europa and Rebelution at The Hive.

And in honor of Steve Gibbs, founder of The Art Spirit Gallery in Downtown Coeur d'Alene, who passed away late last year after his battle with ALS, there will be A Celebration of Life at Hagadone Event Center that the community is welcome to attend.

SANDPOINT WINTER CARNIVAL Thurs. Feb. 16 Sun. Feb. 26

Every year in the dead of winter since 1973, Sandpoint cooks up a sure antidote to cabin fever. It’s the Sandpoint Winter Carnival, pure fun celebrating the best of the snowy season. The annual Winter Carnival includes fireworks and fun at Schweitzer, live music all over town, parties galore plus other traditional faves including the Parade of Lights and the K9 Keg Pull. CIRQUE DE SOLEIL: OVO Thurs. Feb. 16 - Sun. Feb. 19 Cirque du Soleil returns to Spokane in February 2017 with OVO, its newest touring show in arenas. OVO is comprised of 50 performing artists from 12 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts. One highlight of OVO is the stunning Flying Act in which a group of scarabs soar high above the stage, from both edges to the middle landing on a platform. Read more

HEROES, VILLAINS AND SIDEKICKS Sat. Feb. 18, 2pm & 8pm Enjoy the music of your favorite superheroes from comics and film. Spokane Symphony creates an exciting program of spine-tingling scores includes music from Superman, Batman, X-Men, and more. Also on the bill is Princess Leia’s Theme from Star Wars, and the Theme from Game of Thrones. Come early for pre-concert activities including crafts, photo ops and a costume contest. Read more

"Let it Glow!" Night Parade and Fireworks Sun. Feb. 19, 6pm Schweitzer and Coca Cola are celebrating over President’s Weekend with the Coca Cola “Let it Glow!” kids parade and fireworks show. Head to Schweitzer where they'll be handing out free LED battery powered “torches” to all the kids who pre-register and then leading the whole group down Ridge Run for a nighttime LED parade, followed by the Coca Cola Fireworks Show!
