The 13th annual Artist Showcase Art Auction is the main fundraiser for the Spokane Valley Arts Council and celebrates the art of local professional artists. Held at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley, there will be a silent auction and quick-finish demonstrations by various artists from 5 to 6:30pm, with dinner and live auction from 6 to 9pm. This Sunday, October 13, athletes will be coming together for this year's Spokane Marathon! Featuring a full marathon, marathon relay, half marathon and 10k, the courses are hilly and run partly along the Spokane River, while the 10k course follows the beautiful Centennial Trail.
