Dry Fly’s New Distillery & Tasting Room is Coming Soon!

Dry Fly Distilling is expanding to a new location! On June 30, Spokane’s favorite distillery is moving downtown to a new space featuring a tasting room and retail bottle shop.

Taking over the old Spokesman Review Printing Press building, the new location will hold an enhanced total capacity of 102 guests on the main floor and 82 seats in the tasting room.

The new location will begin operations with snacks and food menus from neighboring restaurants, following Liquor Control Board regulations for a tasting room. They plan to complete their kitchen installation for the addition of full food service in the coming months. A private upstairs event space is also in the works, with an expected capacity of 50 in the main space and another 10 in the boardroom.

“We have designed the space such that both the main dining room, bottle shop and upstairs spaces will have a great view of the production space,” shared Dry Fly’s Terry Nichols. From the bar to the dining room, each spot in the new location will have an “epic view” of Dry Fly’s operations and production.

The space itself will be a sight to behold, as the owners have saved and repurposed window frames from the former Kaiser Mead Aluminum plant and incorporated them into the new location, with “lots of other subtle nods to our farmers with the use of over 100-year-old barnwood from their properties,” Nichols said.

The distillery looks forward to the new location bringing an enhanced production capacity and faster canning equipment that will double their canned cocktail output per minute.

“We will be able to make significantly more product here,” Nichols said.

Their initial hours of operation are set to be noon to 8pm Sunday through Thursday, and noon to 9pm Friday and Saturday. Mark your calendars for June 30 to welcome Dry Fly (and their incredible cocktails) to downtown Spokane!
