Sandpoint’s iconic music festival is back! The Festival at Sandpoint returns for its 38th year, with locals and visitors anxiously awaiting live music’s return after a long year. This Thursday’s performance highlights Alabama-based rock and roll soul band St. Paul & the Broken Bones, known for bringing powerful vocals and a magnetizing energy. The annual Hayden Days returns for a weekend of live music and entertainment. Presented by the Idaho Central Credit Union, the weekend will feature a parade of hometown heroes, a pancake feed at the Northern Lakes Fire Department, a car show from North Idaho Classics and the Hayden’s Got Talent show! Parade of Paws 2021 Saturday, July 24, 10am Run (or walk) for Spokane’s animals this Saturday, as the Spokane Humane Society brings their 18th annual Parade of Paws. Raise a pledge before you walk, then choose from 2 or 4 miles to benefit the animals of the Spokane Humane Society. All friends and friendly pets are invited to join you in participation! Summer Service Day

If you’re looking for a way to give back and contribute to local events, visit the Kootenai County Fairgrounds to join in a summer work party. Volunteers will split into groups to tackle various projects around the fairgrounds including cleaning, organizing, painting, landscaping and more. The day of service will commence with a midday barbecue celebration to thank volunteers with complimentary lunch and beverages.
