Farmers Market Season in Full Swing

The local farmers market season is here! This week marks the return of several local favorites, with many additional market days scheduled throughout the week in Spokane and North Idaho. No matter your location or schedule, there’s a market for you this summer.

Spokane’s Emerson-Garfield Farmers Market begins Friday at 3pm, offering live music and free kids’ activities each week, along with a selection of goods including honey, jams, teas, jewelry, leatherwork, breads and more!

The Spokane Valley Farmers Market will also open their season tonight with a Food Truck Night event in partnership with the Greater Spokane Food Truck Association. The market will bring over 45 vendors, food trucks, and live music from Logee. Food Trucks in attendance will include Meltz, One Night Stand BBQ, Ben & Jerry’s, Kona Ice and more. Find the Spokane Valley Farmers Market outside Centerplace Regional Event Center on Friday nights from 4 to 8pm.

Additional markets to visit throughout the week include the Liberty Lake, Kootenai Farmers Market in Hayden, and Silver Lake Mall markets on Saturday mornings, the Hillyard Farmers Market on Monday evenings, the Millwood, Coeur d’Alene and Kendall Yards markets, all on Wednesday evenings—plus the locally loved Thursday Market on Perry Street. The local market scene is alive and here to stay for the season, with each market bringing different opportunities to sample, shop and soak up the sun! Find each market’s page on Facebook to stay connected with weekly updates, vendor previews and more.
